We took a walk this weekend down by the James River. It was cold enough so that Gus decided he'd rather snuggle with dada but Anouk braved the cold and found some shells, fossils, and played and climbed in an amazing driftwood palace. We brought the dog and the camera, of course. I'm saving this location for the next time a client asks for session location recommendations. Wouldn't it be majestic for a maternity shoot? Or a family session, with the kids sitting up on the driftwood?
Does driftwood make anybody else think of the cheesy Merle Haggard song? "I can't always be here with you baby/I'm just driftwood drifting by." Just me?
